The Multi-Mode Threat Detector (MMTD) takes portable detection to a new level without sacrificing portability or functionality. This rugged, portable system, rated IP54, is built for extreme conditions and designed for the rapid detection and discrimination of explosives, narcotics, chemical warfare agents, and toxic industrial chemicals, optimized for the detection of peroxides, markers, and methamphetamine precursors.

 

Four modes are available, including a dual-mode option for simultaneous detection of explosives and narcotics in a single sample. Operators can also quickly switch between particle and vapor analysis to select the best sampling method.

 

Other features include: up to 5 hours of continuous operation with two hot-swappable batteries (included); remote unattended operation for one or more devices with threat alert and status transmission via Wi-Fi/Ethernet; an unlimited SD card slot and a USB port for exporting results. The included software allows operators to conduct more in-depth data analysis and print results via a network connection.
